Ketua DPR RI dan Ketua DPP PDIP, Puan Maharani, Menyampaikan Pesan dari Megawati untuk Prabowo
Puan Maharani, who holds the positions of Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) and Chairperson of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), spoke about the visit of Prabowo Subianto’s son, Ragowo Hediprasetyo Djojohadikusumo, known as Didit Hediprasetyo, to the home of PDIP’s Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri for Idul Fitri celebrations.
Following her attendance at an open house event hosted by the Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) and Secretary-General of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani, in Widya Chandra, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (April 2, 2025), Puan mentioned that Megawati sent a message to Prabowo through Didit.
“Mother [Megawati] sends her greetings to Mr. Prabowo, wishing him good health always, and hopes that after Idul Fitri, the situation will improve, and everything will go well for the nation and the state,” said Puan Maharani.
Puan also discussed the planned meeting between Megawati and Prabowo, indicating that it would take place as soon as possible after Idul Fitri.
“There won’t be an open house, so Mr. Prabowo is definitely busy, and Mrs. Mega also won’t be holding an open house. So, after this Idul Fitri holiday, there will definitely be a meeting soon,” she said.
Didit arrived at Megawati’s residence on Teuku Umar, Central Jakarta, at 11:58 AM and left at 1:06 PM. However, he declined to comment on his conversation with Megawati during the Idul Fitri gathering.
Several PDIP cadres, such as Bambang Pacul, Ahmad Basarah, Utut Adianto, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), and high-profile figures including Sri Mulyani (Minister of Finance) and Budi Gunadi Sadikin (Minister of Health), also attended the gathering.
